This is my first ever light coloured pixmap theme. I wanted to create the impression of paint on a canvas using gentle hues. Again, because I have not seen this done before, i decided to create it myself because I imagined the effect would be quite nice.
The background is canvas-textured, but i have included smooth background and instructions for those that prefer a smooth background.
NOTE: its a pixmap based theme, so it requires the gtk2-engines-pixbuf package to be installed for the theme to work. On ubuntu(the distro that i use), its not included so needs to be downloaded.
UPDATE:
Changed it to be a more watercolour and pencil look. Got rid of the 'harder' elements such as black lines and metallic buttons etc.
Mmm well done. I have never seen a canvas based theme until now and you did a nice job. I only frown at the metallic looking beveled scrolls and buttons.

Thankyou for the compliment, kj . The metallic looking buttons actually blends in surprisingly well, and they provide a contrast. I'm in the middle of changing a few things, such as getting rid of the black lines. I think it suits having softer lines.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
